Torie began her dancing career at the age of 3 and has continued to dance throughout her life. her love for clogging began in elementary school when she began clogging for the high country cloggers in Boone, nc. growing up she studied multiple forms of dance from clogging to ballet and everything in between. after graduating from UNCC with her bachelor’s in dance performance, she danced on the Charlotte Hounds cheer and dance team, the Foxes. after becoming captain and dancing with the foxes for multiple seasons, Torie hung up her poms and focused on her growing family. she now enjoys teaching clogging and performing on multiple teams at Sims Country Cloggers, but her favorite part is getting to clog alongside her daughter.
